Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") governs your access to and use of the Docubark platform and services (the "Services"). Where a separate agreement between you and Docubark, Inc. ("Docubark," "we," or "us") references Docubark's standard published policies, this Policy is that policy. If there is any conflict between this Policy and a signed agreement between you and Docubark, the signed agreement controls.

By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access as described below and in your agreement.

1. Permitted Use

You may use the Services only for your internal business purposes, in accordance with your agreement with Docubark, this Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for the conduct of your authorized users.

2. Prohibited Activities

You will not, and will not permit any user or third party to:

Legal and rights violations

• •Use the Services in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
• •Upload, store, or process content that infringes intellectual property rights or that you do not have the right to submit.

Security and integrity

• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other customers' data, or any related systems or networks.
• •Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or circumvent any authentication, access control, or security measure.
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the Services, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
• •Introduce malware, or any code or mechanism intended to disrupt, disable, or impair the Services.
• •Interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Services, including through denial-of-service activity, automated scraping, or excessive automated requests outside documented API limits.

Account and access

• •Share account credentials, or allow access by anyone other than your authorized users.
• •Disable, bypass, or interfere with multi-factor authentication or other required security controls.
• •Resell, sublicense, or make the Services available to third parties except as permitted in your agreement.

Data

• •Upload or process data you are not authorized to submit, or that violates the privacy or contractual rights of any third party, including vendor or supplier data.
• •Store or process regulated categories of data (for example payment card data, protected health information, or government identifiers) without ensuring your use complies with the laws and standards that apply to that data (such as PCI DSS or HIPAA).

3. Customer Data Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of the data you and your users submit to the Services, and for having the necessary rights and consents to submit it. Docubark's handling of your data is governed by your agreement, our Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, our Data Processing Addendum.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

Docubark has no obligation to monitor use of the Services, but may do so and may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. We may suspend or restrict access to address a violation, a security risk, or a legal obligation. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure in accordance with your agreement, except where a delay would create risk to the Services, other customers, or third parties.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The version in effect at the time of your use applies to that use.
